A Goal Without A Timeline Is Just A Dream

When setting a goal it's very important to know when you want to achieve this goal by. Anyone is able to date a supermodel. Setting up a lifestyle so that a supermodel will be attracted to you will take time. You want to set up this lifestyle before you are too old to enjoy the benefits of dating a supermodel.

When you set a goal, you give your universal mind instructions to go out and create that goal for you. Having a timeline, a time when you want this goal to become tangible is a key element to achieving your goal. Without setting a time in the future, your universal mind will continue to work away at delivering your goal, perhaps years after the goal ceases to be important to you.

For instance, you might find a girl whom you really like and start a relationship with. Because you haven't had a date to achieve your goal to attract a supermodel into your life, your universal mind will continue to work away in the background and cause confusion in your life.

By creating a date for your goal to be accomplished you become more focused. You prioritize your goal and when you do this your universal mind puts more emphasis on finding the solutions so you create your goal.

Creating a timeline can be challenging. When you set a goal you start a journey from where you are now to sometime in the future when you will have accomplished the goal. There will be many hidden challenges that crop up and serve to distract you. It's easy to overestimate what you can do within a limited amount of time.

On the other hand, if you make it too easy to achieve your goal, you will waste time. This can create boredom and you lose track of your goal.

So when you create a timeline, you want to be ambitious but not ridiculous. Dating a supermodel is unlikely to happen tomorrow but if you give yourself enough time it is possible.
